Car/4WD Hire
Doomadgee Roadhouse has 4 Nissan X-Trail 4WDs available for hire. When hiring the 4WDs you must notify the roadhouse management of your exact travel requirements/destination/s and they must be approved.
HIRE CARS ARE RESTRICTED TO THE DOOMADGEE TOWNSHIP AREA ONLY. DRIVING ON UNSEALED ROADS OR OFFROAD IS PROHIBITED.
This is for your safety and to ensure the validity of INSURANCE cover on the use of the vehicle. If you do not follow this requirement the insurance may NOT cover any damage to the vehicle. All 4 vehicles are well maintained. Make sure you book in advance!!
From 1 June 2025, we will increase the daily hire rate by $15 per day to cover petrol for IN AND AROUND TOWN. If a longer negotiated trip is required e.g. Burketown, you must fill the tank up before returning the vehicle.
ALL cars are fitted with a TRACKER. If you travel outside the Doomadgee Township you will incur a minimum charge of $250. If there is any damage you may be charged up to $5000.
